They say that certain types of men
are known to beat and beat again,
until the blood dries up and then,
they fist and punch again.
Time after time she asked him when
he’d stop and so he thumped her once again.
He told his closest bosom friend -
You really love my kind of men,
the ones who bruise, then strike again.
So what message did the good judge send,
when asked to bring such beating to an end?
Well, he was beaten too, made him a man.
That’s nature’s way. You understand.
